Note: The Agency, Application and Post Placement fees are transferable to another CHI program in the event a suitable referral cannot be located in Kazakhstan or due to country-specific problems including but not limited to such issues as program closings, war, adverse changes to their laws, etc.

1. All application and agency fees are non-refundable if the adoption is not completed for any reason. These fees may be transferred to a new program.
2. CHI's Home Study approval does not guarantee that Kazakhstan will approve the home study or the family to adopt.
3. Coordinator fee must be wired directly to CHI prior to travel. No checks will be accepted.
4. Foreign fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the adoption, and is paid to CHI and transferred to the country.
5. Regional Adoption fee must be given to regional coordinator in cash upon arrival in region OR family may send money via Western Union (Western Union fees will apply) or other wire service.


ADDITIONAL ADOPTION EXPENSES NOT PAYABLE TO CHI

Home study/Post-placements	Housing costs and meals in country - $100-200 per day	U.S. visa for the child - $380

All state apostilles	Orphanage donation to be paid to coordinator in region - $250+ (must be paid in cash)	Child's KZ passport and exit visa - $500 (must be paid in cash)
KZ visas - $245/person
