Ethiopia Children

Poverty, disease and war have left a large number of children without parents. Some children are available for immediate placement or a referral may be received within 2-4 months after the dossier is approved by Ethiopia's Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Infants, toddlers, sibling groups and older children are all available for adoption. All children are examined by Children's House International's doctor in Addis Ababa and are tested for HIV, hepatitis and TB. Parents will receive a complete child study which includes all medical information, legal documentation and proof of orphan status, photos and a video. Children that have been accepted by a family are transferred into care at The Thomas Center. The Thomas Center is CHI's own nursery which allows us to give the best care possible and to provide updates to our families often.
